Woo Hoo... Happy Friday everyone. I've been in such a rush this week. Whew! What a week it's been. I finished my business taxes and it feels great to know that that's behind me now. Yay! Now I can focus on spending time with my brother, Kenny, who is coming in on the train from San Diego today. We're going to see a movie tomorrow. Not sure what we're going to see yet. And we'll probably barbecue and go in the spa too as well. The weather is absolutely beautiful in the 70's and they say it's going to hit the 80's this weekend. Yahoo! How 'bout that? We've been invited to a Super Bowl party at our friends house, and we're looking forward to it. The Super Bowl is so much fun, isn't it? Especially the commercials! They certainly have some great ones.
I had fun so much fun working on the beads I had for sale today, and it feels wonderful that they sold so quickly. Thank you! :) I still have three items available in my Esty shop
if you'd like to take a peek over there. Hope you find something you love.
Have a bead-a-rrific weekend!

My brother, Kenny, called to let me know... he got Liberty this weekend. Woo Hoo! He's going to take the train up from San Diego and we'll pick him up at the train station here town. We're so happy. :o) I'm working on beads today, so I'll have something new for you Friday.
Have a lovely day!

Hello there! What have I been up to? Well, not much really. Just taking it easy enjoying spending time with my family. :o) After a whole week of 75/80 degree weather we had two days of rain, and now it's very chilly in the 50's. Brrr!...LOL I have to admit I was getting a little spoiled there for a moment with all the lovely weather we'd been having. The kids and I started sowing our seeds indoors, so they'll be ready to plant outside in about 6 weeks or so. Jordan planted Zinnias and Russell Lupines because they remind me of baseballs and baseball bats, and I thought, he'd get a kick out of planting those, and he did. Madison planted Sweet Peas. Why? Because she is a Sweet Pea!...LOL
My brother, Kenny, called Sunday night to let me know he's finished with Naval A school and that he's flying to the San Diego Naval base today. He's been assigned to the USS Boxer, which is somewhere near... maybe I shouldn't say. He'll be on hold in SD until he gets his orders. He did mentioned there's a possibility he might be flown to the ship where-ever it is. Boy, they don't waste anytime, do they? He is hoping to get Liberty while he's in SD so we can see him, but we don't know for sure yet. We are really hoping we will before he leaves because the ship is on an 18 month mission from what I understand. It sure would be nice to see him.
Finally got out and made beads yesterday. I have a couple Pandora beads
to share with you today... Bees, ladybugs and Mickey Mouse that are just too cute. And I have some extras that are looking for a home. Oh, and I moved some beads over to my Etsy store
and I'm now offering Free Shipping on all of those. Thanks for taking a peek!
I'm working on my taxes this week. Yuck! I have to have them done because they're due Friday... Double Yuck!....LOL
Oh, and you've got to see this... This is the sunset at the North Pole with the moon at its closest point. A scene you will probably never get to see in person, so take a moment and enjoy.
How cool would it be to see this from your house? WOWIE!
Have a fantastic week! :o)

Some exciting news.... My coffee bean beads are in the Jan/Feb 09 issue of Step by Step beads. You can find them on page 8 in Java Jive, designed by Melissa J. Lee. The coffee bean beads are up on the bead specials page, and I'm currently taking orders. It's the first time my beads have been in a magazine, and I'm so excited. Yahoo! Thank you, Melissa. :o)

Happy Monday! Hope you had a fantastic weekend. My cousin and her hubby came over yesterday. We barbecued hamburgers and enjoyed the day together. The weather was absolutely beautiful in the 80's with a gentle blowing breeze. We went for a walk and talked about plants with her showing me different types of varieties as we walked along. I've been planting vegetable gardens for many years, but I don't know much about flowers. So, she was helping me with ideas of which ones to grow and where. Oh, I can't wait to get started. Madison and I are going to have so much fun. :o)
I have an auction set to share with you today inspired by an outfit Oprah was wearing on her show last week that I fell in love with. I also happen to love black & green, so it was the perfect inspiration for me. Hope you love it too. Thanks for peeking!
Have a marvelous Monday!

Happy New Year! Boy, I take a week off and forget to come back. Just kidding. :o) Although, I have been taking advantage of my time off, which I haven't done in over 2 years. I know. What's wrong with me, never taking a vacation? I have a feeling I'm addicted... addicted to making beads that is!...LOL The first beads of 2009 are up... three Valentine's Day sets. Oh, how I love designing for Valentine's, so there'll be lots more. I also have two more of the Puppy Paw Pandoras in Lt. ivory and black. I had made them for a lady who never came back and got them, so they're up for grabs. Thank you so much for seeing what I have to offer today.
Tomorrow I'm volunteering in Madison's classroom. I always have so much fun doing it. On this month's calender, I noticed her teacher put me down twice when I usually only do it once, so she must be short handed. I don't mind though. I get a kick out of spending time with a bunch of 5 and 6 years olds, who are such a hoot. The stuff they come up with is so funny. They crack me up.
The weather here has been absolutely beautiful. Dare I say, it's in the mid 70's. And they're predicting it may hit the 80's this weekend. Yahoo! It's time to heat the jacuzzi and break out the bbq. Two of my favorite things to-do.
Now I'm off to tend to my emails, which have been sitting unanswered for way too long.
Have a great day!
