Hello :) Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you're having a lovely weekend. I just wanted to let you know I start my new job tomorrow, and am currently taking an online college course that is going to keep me very busy for the next couple of weeks. I will continue to stop in and say Hi! when I can. But as far as new beads go, I'm not sure when I'll have time. I do have two new sets for you today: Snow Bunnies and Winter Wonderland, but this is it for a while, or at least until I figure out how to manage work, class, beads and Girl Scouts. I will, however, continue taking orders as long as you don't mind waiting. Just email me with your request. Oh, and I do have beads available on Etsy too.

Wishing you a very happy holiday season!

The Twelve Days of Christmas

(December 12, 2009)

Sing it with me one last time..... On the 12th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... Rooster Roo. He's a whimsical rooster with alotta attitude .... Thank you all so much for joining in on the fun. I sure had fun doing this. And I hope you did, too. :)

The girls had a great time Christmas caroling yesterday. We didn't end up going to Wakefield Court because of the pouring rain, but that didn't spoil our fun. So instead, we sang indoors with another GS troop. Gosh, they were so cute. And a little silly, too. Ah, to be young again.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Let's sing it!..... On the 11th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... Snowman Blues ... la la la la la la la la la. He's a snowman with earmuffs, and he comes with a mitten and cupcake. Too cute. Thanks for joining in on the fun!

Oh gosh, what a busy day! I worked for 5 hours this morning so I could complete all of the orders I had pending. And those will go out tomorrow. Yay! My kiddies had a minimum day, so we went on a play-date with friends to Burger King. So now I'm home. Whew! But in about 40 minutes we're going caroling with our Girls Scouts. It is sprinkling a little bit, so we moved caroling up an hour to beat the rain. Oh, boy, it's going to be so much fun! :)

Have a fantastic Friday, and I'll see you tomorrow.

Sing it with me.... On the 10th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... An adorable Mickey Mouse set ... la la la la la la la la la. Thanks for checking in today! :)

Tomorrow night we're taking our Girl Scout troop caroling in Wakefield Court here in Saugus. It's one of those streets where every single house on the black are lit with Christmas lights; therefore, they call it Candy Cane Lane. Oh, and it's the same street Cesar Millan The Dog Whisperer lives on. Yep! He lives in the same city as me. How cool is that?! And wouldn't it be neat if he came outside to hear us sing? A friend of mine said, we should bark the words to a song as we pass by his house. Isn't that just too funny?...lol We're hoping the rain doesn't spoil the fun, though because another storm is supposed to hit us sometime today. So, keep your fingers crossed for us that it stops by tomorrow, or at least give us enough of a break to get out and sing for an hour or so.

Have a great day!

(December 9, 2009)

Sing it with me.... On the 9th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... Holly Berry earrings, on interchangeable lever back posts ... la la la la la la la la la. Boy, this is fun, isn't it? :)

I just got off the phone with my hubby, Dwayne, he's at work and had to wait 3 hours at the post office this morning to pick up his truckload of mail. Because there's snow at the grapevine, the police were doing escorts overnight through the pass, and that backed up the trucks in the terminals delivering the mail from up north. Poor guy! It makes him crazy when he has to sit and wait. It's 42 degrees and I'm so cold. Can you believe it... I had to scrape ice off my windshield this morning before I took the kids to school. And my fingers are freezing as I'm typing. Now don't laugh at me, 'cause I can hear you!...lol But, hey! This is So. California and we're not that used to being this cold. Brrr! I will say, though, it'd be fun to get some snow flurries. It is supposed to rain tomorrow, and if it gets just a little bit colder, we just may see some. That hasn't happened in 3 years. And, boy, that'd be a real treat!

Have a wonderful Wednesday, and I'll see you tomorrow!

(December 8, 2009)

Sing it with me.... On the 8th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... Gingerbread and Gumdrops ... la la la la la la la la la :) Oh my goodness, how cute is he?! And the gumdrops are so sweet, too. Thank you for checking in.

The fire station tour yesterday was a lot of fun. The girls got to climb into the engine and the paramedic truck, flash the lights and beep the horn. Man, that was so loud, especially, when you're standing right in front of it and don't expect it. Yeah! The girls loved scaring us....lol

I'm off to pick up Madison from school and then we're off to do grocery. Oh, joy!

Have a terrific Tuesday, and I'll see you tomorrow!

(December 7, 2009)

Let's keep singing, I like singing. On the 7th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... A Minnie child's bracelet. It would be a darling stocking stuffer ... This bracelet is 7" and fits 6 1/2" wrist. Madison fits it perfectly, and she's 6. I had a hard time getting it back from her, so she's going to get one for Christmas. Shhh! Don't tell. :)

Have you ever made homemade pizza? We do at least twice a month. Last night, we each made our favorite. Mine being BBQ chicken, Jordan pepperoni and Madison ham & pineapple. It's always so much fun and we have a great time making them together. And the kids really get a kick out of making their own. You should try it!

Today we're taking our GS troop on a tour of the Fire Station. The girls have been looking forward to it and are very excited.

Have a marvelous Monday, and I'll see you tomorrow!

(December 6, 2009)

Sing it with me... On the 6th day of Christmas, Krissy has for me... An adorable pair of snowmen ... la la la la la la la la la. :) These little guys are just too cute, and are the perfect size for a festive pair of earrings. Oh, and they match the Candy Cane Lane set from day 1. Thanks for checking in!

We saw 'A Christmas Carol' in 3D yesterday, and we thought it was fantastic! The animation was superb and when Scrooge was flying through the air, you felt as if you were flying, too. Very cool! But I don't recommend it for children under the age of 5 because, it may be a little scary for them during the chase scenes. Madison jumped out of her seat several times (she says 8....lol), and it was a good thing she had her blanket to hide under. We always bring a blanket along because it can get so darn cold in there. And it's no fun shivering while watching a movie.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

(December 5, 2009)

Good morning! It's the 5th day of Christmas and I have for you... a Snow Princess. She's a sweet roly-poly snowgirl complimented with pretty shades of purple. Thanks for joining in on the fun, even though it's Saturday. :)

Today we're going to see A Christmas Carol. We tried to see it last weekend, but the projector broke right in the middle of the previews. So keep your fingers crossed for us that it doesn't happen again.

Have a bead-utiful day and I'll see you tomorrow!

(December 4, 2009)

Hello :) TGIF everyone! I just figured out a neater way to-do the countdown pictures by adding the numbers over the top so you can still see the beads through it. Yay! I love it when I learn something new. It's day #4 and I have for you Polar Express. It includes an adorable lentil polar bear, who has a belly button. So cute! Boy, this is fun, isn't it? It's helping me keep track of the days, which always get away from me this time of year. And Christmas will be here before ya know it!

Madison is having a friend over for a play-date after school today. She's a girl in our troop, who Madison likes very much. But before I pick them up, I have errands to run.

See you tomorrow!

(December 3, 2009)

Hi! Can anyone guess what today is?.... It's my 26th wedding anniversary! I know. I can't believe it either. So, what'd we do, you ask? Well, since we couldn't get a babysitter for tonight, we decided to go out to breakfast while the kids were in school at one of our favorite spots in town. I had country fried steak and eggs. And Dwayne had the Saugus special, which is an omelet with sausage, avocados, sour cream and cheese. It was so yummy. And the Bloody Marys weren't so bad either...lol I have a special set for day #3 (and because it's my anniversary) it's 'Kiss Me' Yep! My first lips, and they're just too cute!

Have a great day, and I'll see you tomorrow!

Hi! Madison and I had such a great time at the Girl Scout leader/daughter holiday party last night. Everyone brought treats and a pair of socks to exchange. What desert did we bring? We made Crunchy the Snowmen. They're the chocolate dipped pretzels from this months issue of Family Fun magazine. They were a lot of fun to make, and got gobbled up in a flash. When it was time to do the gift exchange. We sat in a circle in groups according to levels; daisy, brownies/juniors and leaders while we listened to a reading of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" and every time we heard the word 'Grinch' we passed the gift to the person on the right. And when the story was over, the gift we were holding was ours to keep. Such a great idea to do an exchange that way. It was fun listening for the word and then passing. The girls loved it! Madison got a cool pair of grey thigh highs with pink, black and purple swirly designs running all the way down the back of the calf. And I got this set of 3 socks by Little Miss Matched. Check them out. They're so cute. I gave mine to Maddy because I don't see myself wearing them that much. It's the In Thing. You know. Going miss-matched. How fun is that?! Very Punky Brewster-ish. If you know who that is. Yes. I am dating myself...lol

Well, it's December 2nd. And you know what that means. Yep! The new beads are up. It's a sweet trio of peppermint candies.

See you tomorrow! :)

Happy December everyone! Can you believe Christmas is only 24 days away? It sure sneaks up on us, doesn't it? I wish decorating my house for the holidays, was as easy as decorating my website. No unpacking and then deciding where things will go. With just two clicks of my mouse, it's done! We already have our Christmas gifts on layaway, I did that a month ago. I won't tell you what it is though, just in case my kiddies decide to check out my site. Don't want to spoil the surprise. But you may remember last Christmas I was looking for one and it was sold out everywhere we went. So this year, when I found one, I put it right on layaway. Oh, boy, they're going to be so excited!

I thought it'd be fun to do "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by offering something new everyday for the next twelve days. Now I'm only going to do an email today to let everyone know what I'm doing. So after today, it's up to you to check in at random times during the day to see what's new. So, I'm kicking it off today with set #1 Candy Cane Lane. Thanks for joining in on the fun! :)

See you tomorrow, and have a fun filled day!
