We're up bright and early this morning 'cause we're going to the Oneida county fair! Yee-haw! The 4 H show begins at 9:00 and we don't want to miss it. Guess where I'm going tomorrow.... I'm going to the ISGB Gathering in Rochester. Yahoo! I'm so EXCITED!!! :))) It's my first time. OMG, all that glass and supplies! I'll be in beading heaven.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend. See you here Monday or on facebook throughout the weekend. I have that linked to my cell phone so I can text from where I'm at. How cool is that?! :)

Back from blueberry pickin' and we only spent $16.00. How 'bout that? We had such a great time. We'd eat one, two or three then drop a couple in our buckets, so it took awhile. After all was said and done, we got 42 cups of yummy blueberries. That's a pretty good haul, if I do day so. It's a good thing they handed out recipes 'cause now I need to know what to-do with all of them...lol

Two new Halloween sets today. I just can't get enough of those. :)

The new freebie is up. Enjoy the rest of your week!

We've had two days of absolutely beautiful weather. Sunny and warm, just how I like it. :) The Irish Festival on Saturday was so much fun. It was a day filled with music, food, and of course, plenty of beer. The pipe bands were amazing. Don't think that's something I could ever do. Blowing all that air into the bag would probably make me faint...lol It is so cool though listening to several bands play at one time. What a sight!

Tomorrow we're going to pick blueberries. Last month we went strawberry picking for the first time. Each of us had our own container to fill and not once did we think to stop until ours was full. Well, when we went to weigh and pay, it was close to 50 bucks. I know.... I just about had a heart attack! But what could we do at that point, we'd picked 'em. It's a lesson well learned, so tomorrow, we're bringing smaller containers. Ha!

See you tomorrow late afternoon for the Free Beads drawing. Good luck everyone!

TGIF! It's raining, it's pouring.... Man, it's been raining all night and all day. We took the kids bowling this morning and ended up getting completely soaked walking to and from the car. I do love seeing rain 'cause it's a rarity in Southern California so I'm not complaining.  Just don't like the getting all wet part when it's raining this hard.

Tomorrow we're going to The Irish Festival (keep your fingers crossed that the rain lets up). The last festival we went to was a renaissance several years ago. There were people dressed in period costumes and jousting matches all while eating these huge turkey legs. Boy, that was a blast! So, we're really looking forward to experiencing an Irish one. Don't you just love this time of year 'cause there is so much to do? We've been busy doing something just about every weekend since we got here, and we're really enjoying ourselves! :)

Wishing you a fun filled weekend!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Guess what today is?.... It's Jordan's 12 birthday. I know. I can't believe it either. Time flies right along, doesn't it?! He's been wanting to go and play neon mini golf in the mall since we got here, so that's what he wants to do for his birthday. Grandma & grandpa are coming over for dinner. Maddy is baking his cake. She's quite the little baker, if I do say so myself. She sure can bake a mean cake....lol

I have a nice selection of beads for you today. Tide pool- So lovely! Ghostly- So spooky! Espresso Bean- So yummy! Hey! Did you happen to see my coffee bean beads on the cover of The Best of Step by Step Beads? This is the second time my beads have graced the pages of this magazine. Had a great time in the pool with my kiddies, and now I'm back with the 2 sets I told you about. I have something new for you today Lil' Hooters OMG! Aren't they just the cutest things?! My MIL asked why I made them so colorful... why didn't I make them white or brown? Well, I said, that's just not as fun. Any-HOOT...lol hope you love them as much as I do. Thanks for peeking!

Hey! I was thinking about starting in on Halloween beads. Is anybody ready for them??? I'm so excited to get going. You know it's my favorite holiday!

See you tomorrow for the Free Beads drawing

Just finished working and the kids are dying to go to the pool. So, I'll post the new beads when we get back. Should be around 6:00 eastern time. :)

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your weekend was as wonderful as ours. What did we do?.... We drove to Connecticut to see my sister-in-law and her family by the beach in Stratford (toes in the ocean. Love-Love! :) then we went to visit Dwayne's grandmother on the farm in New Jersey. Jordan helped load a 200 bale order of hay. Little did he know when he volunteered that bales weigh 40 pounds a piece, so it was a little difficult for him to toss them into the truck. He did the best he could for an 11 year old. But I have to admit it was so funny when the bales tumbled down in the hay wagon and he'd tumble with. Too cute! We swam, went to the flea market and just enjoyed spending time with family.... and, boy, did we eat! We had to, because grandma kept feeding us. I really do feel like we grazed all weekend....lol You can check out the pictures on Facebook.

Two new bead sets coming up tomorrow. See ya! :)

Hi! Just popping in to do the free beads drawing. Woke up this morning with a migraine. :(  Headed back to bed and am going to watch Crazy Heart. Have you seen it? My MIL said it was pretty good.

Have a great day!

Happy Monday! Gosh, we had such a great time Saturday at the gem & jewelry show that... I am so inspired to begin working with metals (something I've wanted to do for such a long time but never got around to) that Dwayne and I spent several hours yesterday playing with the copper. Yahoo! I have so many ideas swimming around in my head that I can't wait to see how they turn out. Don't you just love it when you feel inspired by something new? Oh, boy, what fun I'm having!

I've been in a beachin' mood lately. So today, I have hibiscus flowers and seashore beads in 2 new colors. Thanks for peeking! :)

Woo Hoo! TGIF everyone! Hey, guess what? Dwayne and I are going out on a date tonight. Do you know how long it's been since we've gone out alone? I am positive it's been over a year, 'cause I can't even remember when that was. Anywho, we're going to see our friend, Joe, play with his band tonight at a local club. Now we haven't been to a club since the 90's. Oh, goodness, what do I wear?! Certainly not what I wore back then...LOL

Tomorrow we're going to Gem World 2010, it's a gem and jewelry show in Syracuse. I need to pick up a lot of supplies for a show I'm doing in September. I have so much fun picking out goodies in person. Don't you just love it?!

My first 'Facebook Exclusive' sets are available through my fan page. All you need to do is become a fan, then follow the link to the secret page. :)

Well, that's all for now. Oh, wait, there's new lovelies cooling in the kiln for Monday. Oh, boy! :)

Have a fatastic weekend!

(July 6th, 2010)

Well, hello there! Now that I'm all settled in and have my studio up and running, I have beads to share with you. Yay! I took a walk down memory lane reminiscing in and updating some of my all time favorites. Discovering who I am as an artist... so to speak 'cause it's been awhile, eh? Gosh, how I've missed making beads and spending time with you. I do hope you enjoy taking a walk with me and thank you so much for peeking. :)

Our holiday weekend was absolutely wonderful, and I hope yours was too. We went to an arts and craft show in Old Forge, went canoeing, had a chicken barbecue and our very own fireworks spectacular. It was one of our best 4th's in a very long time. What a fun day!

Oh, I have a Krissy Beads fan page on Facebook now, so check it out! I thought it be a fun way for you to follow me on a daily basis. That's if you're into that kind of thing. Not that what I do everyday is very interesting. But I hear that's what people are doing nowadays. I will also have specials just for fans. Fun-Fun :)

Off to do the mailing list and the "Free Beads" drawing. Thank you so much for sticking in and continuing to vote in my absence. You're all so sweet.

Have a great week and I'll see you on Facebook!
