Back from NYC and had the time of my life. Just me and my girlfriend of 28 years. Two girls, Three days in the BIG city and we loved every minute of it! We saw so many sites. Gosh, where do I begin?!... Chinatown, Times Square, Little Italy, The Lower East Side Tenement, Central Park, The Dakota where John Lennon was shot, Strawberry Fields & The Imagine Medallion, The Today show (: Yep, that was me Wednesday in the window. Haha! :) Mario Batali's Eataly, the largest artisanal Italian food and wine marketplace in the world <- I had died and gone to wine, Prosciutto and chesse heaven. So much husle & busle, chatter & clatter. <3 it! Want to go back and eat there with Dwayne. We also went to the World Trade Center Site, which took my breah away. As I sat there and looked up at Freedom Tower I began to cry, it was such an overwhelimg experiance. Wow! We went in Federal Hall and saw where President Washington took the oath as 1st president of the United States and the bible he placed his hand. We ate food from all over the world including Goat and Jerk Chicken from the Caribbean, Falafel from Halal, Golden Dragon Resturant in Chinatown and Pho in a quaint Veitnamese eatery. We litterly walked and ate our way through the NYC. What fun!

I'm so excited about my vacation next week with my girlfriend of 28 years. Yes. Just me and her. No hubby. No kids. Yippee!!! :) She's flying in from Arizona and I'm taking the train to meet her in New York City. She planned the whole thing, so I'm literally along for the ride. Not knowing what you're doing in the city until you get there. Oh, how fun!

Autumn in Central NY is such a beautiful place!

I snapped this picture while on a hay ride at one of the local Fall festivals yesterday.
We also went on a safari ride around that field where we saw donkey, elk, bison, emu and horses then we found our way through a corn maze and visited a petting zoo. Madison's favorite part was petting the horses. Mine? The little baby boar in the petting zoo. Yup! Little piggies. They were so cute!

It's back to school night at Madison's school. Can't wait to hear what she'll be learning in 4th grade. She loves school and doesn't mind the work one bit. But Jordan on the other hand, it's like pulling teeth. They are so different.
Please take a peek at what's for sale. I do hope you find something you love. :)

Our weather has cooled about 15 degrees, and what a difference it makes! Last week we were still wearing shorts and the week before, grilling and swimming. But this week it's been pants and hoodies. We went up north for a craft fair last weekend and the leaves are beginning to change. I do love this time of year, it makes me feel all warm and cozy!
New today and will take a limited number of orders
Spider Webs - slider set
Have a terrific Tuesday!

A special order for Lori. Do you remember Skull Candy? Well, she asked me to turn it into a bracelet for her.
The off mandrel heart I made into a dangle in front. I think it's is so super chic!

See the 2 red gear beads...
They float over crystals. How fun is that?! Love, love. :)

Have a great day!

Happy Friday! :)
A couple weeks ago, I went to an Antique Festival and discovered
Vintage Industrial Furniture.
It's salvaged and restored vintage industrial pieces
that were once used to mass produce American products
during the Industrial Revolution. Quoted from Get Back, Inc,
a website I discovered while looking for information on it.
They a have a video on their site that explains it more.
Another website I love is Loft3F.
It's definitely not furniture you would want to move with.
So strong and handsome looking. Love it!

Have a wonderful weekend!

The cable guys was here this morning and installed my new Internet connection.

Feeling fabulous with my new hairdo.
Makes me feel so special when I get my hair done.
Every girl loves a little pampering. :)
Great weekend!
Madison's Fall soccer team won their game 3-1. Way to go girls!
Her Summer team lost every game.
We do teach our kids win or loose it's all in fun.
But when you loose every game it's a hard thing to take, especially, when you're 9.
Have a great day!

Woo Hoo...Happy Friday! :)
It's been a full week my kiddies have been back in school.
Madison got the teacher she was hoping for, Mr Holmes.
She's already had homework every night this week.
Boy, they don't waste any time, do they?!
Jordan is a freshman in high school and classes are going well.
He is considering dropping one class, though, ROTC.
He didn't realize you have to wear a uniform to school once a week
and is afraid the kids will make fun of him.
Now Jordan has a lot of friends.
JR High football team 2 years, the basketball team and
he's 'Mr. Popular' standing 6' 2"!
I can't imagine anyone picking on him,
but he is freshman and there are older kids in the mix now.
Fingers crossed he follows his heart, because he really likes the class.
Pier pressure. UGH!!!
Lil' Monster is looking to be adopted today,
and he's trying his best to look all big and scary
as all monsters should be.
But with only 1 tooth,
I can honestly say, he's harmless.
And Eye will keep all the evil spirits away.
Thanks for peeking! :)

It's been a long, busy summer. We camped in The Adirondack Mountains,
visited the water park, went to The NY State Fair, the beach and local festivals.
We boated, canoed and kayaked our way through Central NY.
So when I sent my kids off to school this morning
and jumped for joy as the bus pulled away,
I did not feel guilty.
No, not one bit! :)
Are you as ready as I am for Halloween?
It's my favorite holiday. Ghosts, bats, pumpkins
and a bracelet that's a Graveyard Smash.
Have a spooktacular day!
